Computer Groom's Cake

This week I made a groom's cake that was modeled after a computer that the groom had built himself. It was a fun project because the computer had a clear panel in it that allows you to see inside it, so I needed to replicate that. There were also lights in it, so I wanted to include that if I could.

I built a box that was sectioned off, with one side being hollow and one side made of the cake. I poured an isomalt sheet to use for the clear panel, and the light was added to the inside so that it illuminated the interior section, which had details inside that looked like the parts of the computer.
