Product Review- First Impressions Chrysanthemum Mold

I got the First Impressions Chrysanthemum mold a while ago, and I've used it for isomalt, gumpaste, candy clay and chocolate. I had a cake coming up that I needed some mums to use as part of a group of flowers, so I made some using the mold, and they worked really well. I also have the flower center one, which comes in very handy when making gumpaste flowers.

Obviously, these don't give you a super-realistic 3-D flower, but no mold really will. These silicone molds are great for flowers that look nice and will be used either as something that liesflatter on the cake, or as part of a larger bunch of flowers. You can also get them for roses, leaves, and bows, as well as many other designs for baby showers and insects.

As you can see, there are a lot of options, and it's hard to describe them because I personally prefer to look at the pictures! But these molds are so easy to work with, I'd definitely recommend that you take a look at some of the options.
