Gold and Silver Ribbons Wedding Cake

Today I delivered a cake that went to the Virginia Museum of Fine Art's Marble Hall. It's a beautiful place to have a reception.

The cake was based on a picture that the bride brought me, and had a double-tall base tier that was made from two same-sized tiers stacked on each other. The ribbons were silver and gold to match the table decorations, and were made out of gumpaste.
