Blue Pulled Sugar Cake

I did this wedding cake with pulled sugar as another Chihuly-inspired design. The reception was at the Virginia Museum Of Fine Arts, which has a Chihuly chandelier installed in the main hall.

For hints on working with isomalt, check out the Craftsy Isomalt class. I found it helpful as a refresher for this cake design.
 
For this cake I used a combination of pulled and blown sugar techniques, and a combination of colors and textures.
