Pink Isomalt Cake

This little cake was a throw-together for my "time off" this week. I used this mold from my Etsy shop and isomalt in pink and white to make swirls from the edges of the mold, then put them on the cake like a fan. I painted the edges of some of the swirls with gold luster dust. This is a good example of how you can use a mold or a pattern in a way that makes it different. You don't have to use the entire mold, just sections of them will work sometimes.
