How To Make Edible Coral Revisited

Since I'm approaching 1000 posts for this blog I'm revisiting a few old posts that I thought would come in handy. We're approaching summer in North America, so here are two posts on how to make edible coral for beach-themed cakes:

You can also use molds like the one in the photo or pipe royal icing to make fan coral, of course. If you're doing a cake with coral on it it's usually good to have a few different kinds for variety's sake.
