This cake was another in my experimentation with iridescent surfaces and decorations inspired by art glass. The piece that served as the inspiration for this one can be found here: Art Nouveau Bowl
To get the finish on this cake I used layers of luster dust painted on the fondant, then dusted it with dry luster to finish. The flowers were painted with a few different luster dust paints and the scrollwork was painted with a blue-green luster.
