How to Use Wafer Paper Doilies On Cakes
These edible doilies are punched out of wafer paper, and can be cut and attached to fondant-covered cakes to create a lace effect.
The easiest way to do it is to moisten (VERY lightly) the surface of the cake, then press the wafer paper onto the cake. Since the punched-out wafer paper has so many thing areas, it's not a good idea to moisten the paper directly, and it really only needs a little water to make it stay attached.
